Bob Dylan announces Australian Concert Tour for August

Music legend Bob Dylan is returning to Australia for a series of concerts across the country, starting in August.

A new Bachelorette rises from the ashes of two previous Bachelor shows, Kayne West chooses to put his foot in it again, the Archibald Packing Room prize is announced and the winners of My Kitchen Rules are crowned.

The Blowin’ in the Wind singer, songwriter and Nobel Prize winner last performed in Australia in 2014 when he spent a month playing at sold-out gigs.

Bob Dylan will return to Australia for a series of arena tours.

Dylan, 76, will begin his latest Australian tour in Perth on August 8 before performing in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Wollongong, Newcastle and Brisbane.

He will then head to New Zealand for shows in Auckland and Christchurch.

Tickets for the shows in Australia will go on sale on May 23.

Dylan has sold more than 100 million albums around the world, collected 11 Grammys and an Academy Award.

In April last year, he ended months of uncertainty when he accepted the 2016 Nobel Prize for Literature, becoming the first songwriter to do so.
