A home in Sydney’s south-west has been damaged by fire and had graffiti scrawled over the front fence in what is believed to be the fifth attack.
The Greenacre house suffered minor damage when flames broke out in the garage just after 1am.
The offenders also scrawled graffiti across the wall outside with slogans to the effect of “U r murderer Tran”.
It is not just the house that has been graffitied.
Footpaths, the school across the road and neighbours’ homes also being covered with the threatening pieces of graffiti.
The last attack on the home occurred in November while the 70-year-old owner slept inside.
Graffiti with “Tran is killer” and “U r killer” was scrawled across the walls and driveway of the large two-storey house.
The home was set on fire and windows were shattered.
It is believed this is the fifth time arsonists have attacked the property since April last year.
The family has moved out of the property as they are working on the home, trying to repair it after the last attack.
9NEWS spoke to the family this morning who say they have no idea who is behind this attack.
This morning’s fire is being treated suspicious.
Police will conduct a canvass of the neighbourhood later today, and are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to call Bankstown Police on 9783 2199 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
