Police have been kept busy with two separate car versus house crashes in Perth on Tuesday night.
The first happened at 7.10pm when an unaccompanied L-plater lost control of the Suzuki Hatch she was driving and crashed through the living room wall of a house in Bittern Way, Bennett Springs.
No-one was injured in the crash while the car was severely damaged.
The second happened at 8.46pm when a 38-year-old man allegedly stole a Holden Cruz sedan from an address in Thornlie only to crash it into two houses on Regal Drive a few minutes later.
The carport of the first house was was badly damaged, as was the wall of the neighbouring home.
No-one was injured but residents held the driver until police arrived.
The 38-year-old Maddington man has been charged with reckless driving and giving police false details and will appear in the Armadale Magistrate’s Court this morning.
