Boy Fighting for Life After Crash that Killed Parents

A four-year-old boy is clinging to life after suffering brain injuries in a head-on crash that killed both his parents.

The boy’s father and mother were killed in the crash.

Vickie, a school teacher, was killed instantly. Natalie is facing a long road ahead. She suffered broken ribs, a fractured foot, a bruised liver and a tear to her intestine.

The man administered first aid on the boy before paramedics arrived at the scene and tended both the four-year-old his mother.

Police believe the cars were travelling around 100km/hr, and the Hilux may have had a tyre malfunction.

Ms Peovitis’s family told 9NEWS they’re devastated, and in a statement said that the mother “always put the children and her work first” and “loved the beach and the ocean”.

The four-year-old boy was air lifted to hospital, and continues to fight for life. (9NEWS)T
