A Melbourne woman and her young daughter have died in a car crash in Zimbabwe, local media reports say.
The Bulawayo Chronicle reported Claire Penno, 32, and her daughter Anaishe died after her husband Emmanuel Mpofu lost control of the car they were in on Thursday near Victoria Falls.
Mr Mpofu is still in hospital while son Romero has been discharged.
A GoFundMe page has been launched to raise money to return the bodies of Ms Penno and her daughter to Australia and to cover funeral costs.
The post reads: “Claire was just an innately good and wonderful person, passionate about welfare of all people, and compassionate beyond measure.
“Anaishe was just starting her life, full of character, personality and such intelligence. She had so much potential to bring to the world.
“She was her parents and grandparents’ world and she was truly loved.”
